today was damn shiok la.
got an MC for today and didnt attend class..

alot of the 17th betas also didnt go school leh HAHA.
but they are all so responsible, cos all of us turned up for investiture rehearsal ok. haha!

bought the tokens of appreciations for the PDP leaders after invest re. and then ate at pastamania

then at tampines got this pasamalam with all the fun fun games and all
daphne rachelt nic and i went to play the big bouncy thing lol. then i think we too heavy the balloon kept sinking down lOL

laughed like siao hahha

later rachelt and daph went home then nic n i went to buy smth to use during HRC meetings. hahha. we bargain with the uncle like crazy and then beg him to give us batteries for it oso.

wait till the other capts see it. haha!

HC camp just ended.
although it took up the entire weekend, it really is the best eand unforgettable experience i had so far!

im quite proud of the 17th beta comm in the camp!! its really touching to see that everyone is holding on together, and all 13 of us survived the camp completely!!
at first many of us were quite unsure whether they can even survive this, but we all did!!!

at first i thought that HC camp is all about training and PT, like a torture camp.
but after this three days i realised that all the things the seniors have put us through are all important and is teaching us something meaningful that is important for our term

i hope that some of us wont get too discouraged about their posts in HC, but i want to say that there's no difference in getting any post, as the other 12 of us will be there for you no matter what! we are one house comm!!

oh and lastly, i must really strive to learn to be more firm, step up and try not to be the "ms.nice" everytime! xDD
i really hope to let this sink into my head and must MUST do something to change my attitude about things.

HC camp is really memorable and going though it was a great accomplishment! thank you 16ths!

today was REALLY bad ok. i over did summary until 2am (again)
slept alot in school today. hahaha
contact time became my sleeping lesson. = ="

i wonder how my dearest yiai manage to stay up the ENTIRE day. she's like poking me everytime my eyes flip close. hahha

speaking about yiai, she's gona meet her DIRECT SENIOR soon ok! (PRESIDENT FOR LEO CLUB?? WAAAAAA)
lian ping got her P.D. post today, so i guess yiai... tmr... hahaha

after school we went to do our sandwich boardie
i heard gamma's board got confiscated by mr t. cos the words on it was too "crude".
and heard a damnnnnn bad/dishonest thing about e alpha elects!! (shant say)
quite unfair lah, cos they were so "resourceful"

6 of us went out to spend another load of cash in buying canned food for the camp
omg la haha. was so ex. = ="
we even bought a freaking BIG can of mushroom. (milo can that huge!!)
gona store everything up in the HC room on fri. :D

went to sharon's house with nicholas n sharon.. very big LOL!. rich girl hahaha

waa my leg so pain x_x

today was really slack in school. accidentally slept in math class today in front of mr f.
totally tired ok! slept at 2AM ytd doing my COMPO and my GP HW (which VERY little ppl did. wth!!)

today after school collected our 2 bags of leaves (haha not bad) and even gave a stack of extra twigs to our dear gamma, who was there later.
THANK YOU JINYI AND YIAI MY DEARS!! who helped me do the leafy things with the house comm.
and mick also xD!!

after that went to look around in bedok with some of the comm members..
found our SPADEs (plastic??) for digging holes and bought our sandals. hahaha
(smelly leggies.xD)

i wonder how much we spent in total for HCcamp.. bomb lols

worse thing is, we wasted $$$ and time doing our sandwich board!! have to redo cos we made ours too small. = ="
and we did ours so nicee......... :'(
tmr will have to make. and maybe buy some of food.

thursday will be such a hectic day, with MATH TEST!!
and friday will be worse, with CHEM TEST and starting of the camp!!
and sat.. and sun..

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

yay! today was so fun!!

met up with the betorians (xD) today to sort out our camp things..
we spent so MUCH MUCH MUCH today!! lol
since its like 95% girls, we shop like half the day loool.
poor nicholas has to be treated like a girl and shop with us. xD

but we finally sorted out our things and then went home.
had so much fun in the process!!

bought flowers for mommy with jolene!!
(ha!! jasmine and julien totally forgot ok. ) xDD

mommy loved it!!! yay!! muack muack.

and i promise her next year we will buy her durian puffs. lolz.

swine flu (ok not swine anymore. influenia A) infected the place and there are like police tapes and teachers wearing masks everywhere.

today was kind of scared with mr calvin tan. cos was kinda slow in handing him the money for e shirts.
mr quek helped me to call him on the intercomm and was like,

then he lied to me that mr tan is really angry with me and don wana talk to me. = ="

House committee nominations just ended yesterday, and there was a Megahouse function (swinging sixties!) which went along quite well. :)

i really wana say that beta's cheerleading is the most SPECIAL one of the 4!!!

GOSH! its finally over man!!

haha! it was kinda torturous but it was also quite fun!! :D

DAY 1 (e night just after sports meet):
damn scary. cos they shined the lights directly at us from the sports complex. can only see their silhouettes and hear their voices... i surrendered my CAMERA (shouldnt have done that. zzzzzz.. cos they went peeping into my pics!! O_O)
had night PT on the 1st day... run run run, push up,situp, run run run....
it was so exhausting from the 1st night already..
night maze.. (great time to sleep)

DAY2
muuuuch better than day 1.
quite slack also. LOL.
pt, breakfast, run to ECP 3km and back (total of 6km).
then amazing race. which was damn slack. hahaha!

very funny too cos we did all the weirdest things like going in front of the merlions and spitting water from our mouths like the merlion.
tourists find us so fasinating that they came to take pic with us spitting. LOL!!!
damnn funny!! we are also forced to wear pacifiers everywhere we go!! so malu! lOL

slept on muba and muba slept on me on the bus. haha

campfire... quite good! fire part was good. had fun with garret cos we threw kerosene bombs and i finally get to be in the fire comm (last minute. HAHHA)

not bad la! they say campfire days for the past few years are CURSED and surely rain. but it didnt this year :)

had some slack PT, then sleep... :O

DAY3did quite a bit of jumping jacks today.
some people feel sick after this PT. very tiring..
played frisbee with the 32nd, who are damn pro at frisbee. i heard they come back every sat to play one ok!
ate our watermelons (our life)... which taste quite sweet.

TODAY IS ALSO OUR CAMPCRAFT COMPETITION 1ST ANNIVERSARY!!
a year ago, at THIS very day, we clinched our GIRLS CHAMPION in CAMPCRAFT, and the guys got a 4th. this was the day we cried our hearts out during the prize presentation, held in our hands the CAMPCRAFT CHAMPION throphy, and as a team, made the MOST PERFECT TENT, MOST PERFECT FLAGPOLE, MOST PERFECT STRUCTURE.
i still can rmbr the days where we came back EVERYDAY to practice, made our hands so rough, and browned our shirts with mud...

SC election results are OUT ytd..
very shocking results!!
they handed out envelopes with destinations to go..
some went to audi.. some went to music studio..

(so i was kinda relaxed already. lol)

gtg to bio project work, so left early with muba.. :D

kehehe. no one managed to reach the library in time. only yiai. poor gal!
haha!! we went to research the reference section (level 7) of the 16 storey library.

hmm. i really think this library waste alot of gd resources... seems like everyone visits only the basement of the library. lolz.

yiai, jinyi and i went to explore the entire library... went to see the restricted sections and asian children books, which has many antique oldies locked away.

went out with our small family of me, jas, mommy, papa, adwin with our grandmother!!

ate crab and loads of stuff at the restraurant!

so fun. i wana be in the organising committee!!

im a little sick and tired of SC..
mass dance everyday..and memorizing steps of the dance feels almost impossible...

SC thingy was so funny at first..

after a while everything became so freaking strict!!

some old ppl wore rusted keys around their neck, waiting for the day they could return home...and for 50 YEARS; fifty long years, they havent got their home back.
i feel sad for them!!

after this journalist thingy, we went to bond with some of our CG girls!
so funny!! talked about GUYS, IDOLS, played some games etc!!

today is the eve of our new year, where we ate our 团圆饭.

mine's more of a lunch rather than a dinner.. cos we came earlier. :)

cos of adult matters in the family, 大伯 is treating us (jas,cyn,jul) as slaves and kept picking on us. a lil mean. oh well. /=

went home early cos 大伯母 was kinda like forcing our maid to do all the jobs, while other maids are at the back eating and slacking about. a lil unfair. =/ so we went home super early with our maid.

packed the entire closet in the room just now; threw all the old clothes to the other cupboard, and figured out what to wear tmr on 初一 (1st day of CNY)

i'll be like the first ever person who blogged out the 4a chalet.
my parents recently saw this show TAKEN

i would say, although this show ruined my life, its G.O.O.D.!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm not so sure when this show will be released in singapore, cos its going to be released in USA only on the 30th jan (around 2 weeks later)

its about how a girl aged 18 got "taken" when she went overseas with her FRIEND.
and how such a good, clever, talented, honourable and admirable father managed to save her.

...and im quite glad my father's as admirable as him

ok back. this "taken" show is good, but it sorta made my parents forbid me to stay overnight even after their promise "WAIT TILL U ARE IN JC/ AKA 17"
mommy: "wait until you are 21!!".......... WTF!!!

..okay.. i dont really blame them cos they are actually quite worried some ppl may rape me or kidnap me or smth.. i could see it clearly from their actions when they allowed me to bring the wii, psp, the exxxxxxpensive camera...and they gave me alot, ALOT of money just to go out today = ="

60% of the ppl there decided to go "fishing", while RJC and jinyi decided to SWIM!!! (esp w/o guys around) haha. yan siang and hui ying tagged along..

quite refreshing after coming out of the swimming pool!

cut off the swimming costume for jinyi!!

there was jacuzzi too!! we sorta relaxed there awhile until lights are out..

had fun in the room with e gals... then played a bit of psp..

i've just came back from a long trip to our chinatown night market!!

woke up early on 4th nov.. (ytd) to topo mommy to NUS, where the exam is held

mommy thought she might be lost, so she went 2 hours early LOL
we went there safe and sound alright, and ate breakfast at old chang kee in NUS.
its a reaaaaaaaly huge school!!

and its only 8:00 when you see all the studious people coming to subway to study. ohohoho.
D= if i went to NUS, i'll study my brain dead

oh well. waited with julien in the practice room where we heard other people playing their chinese orchestra instruments..

after that, due to the rain, we didnt go to the birdpark as planned, and stayed at vivo

2nd round yingtai was catcher, and then me and rach hid together behind the chips
cos the supermarket is 2 levels, and we are free to roam, we waited for yingtai and jamie(who was caught cos she rammed into him) to go up to the 2nd floor before rushing down to 1st floor, which was the safest place

then rach and i were like, browsing magazines and buying water there!! haha
很轻松

after that, we walked around then bought an ice cream as cake, and sang a song for rachel :)
then the guys left, and we rjc went to PAGEONE to look around
wow!! there are so many books there!!
its like book heaven!! :O
and loads of design books!! rach and i were like browsing so much
